Andrew Williams

Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer

Andrew Williams is Cynapsus' Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer. Williams is responsible for the company’s public company operations on the Toronto Venture Exchange (CTH: TSX-V), including all regulatory, finance, accounting, legal, marketing and administrative functions. In his capacity as CFO, Williams oversees the controller, treasury, investor relations, tax, information systems, internal audit and facilities functions. He reports to the CEO and also serves as the Corporate Secretary, working closely with the Board of Directors and Board Committees.

Williams joined Cynapsus from Global Mentoring Solutions (GMS), where he was Vice President of Strategic Planning. GMS is a leading provider of learning support programs and services for both private and public sector organizations. Previous to his work at GMS, Williams was the Director of Business Development at CDI Education (CDI), a private post-secondary education company offering programs in business, technology and healthcare.

Prior to joining CDI, Williams spent five years as a consultant at Williams & Goffin Consulting where he had engagements for clients in the retail, energy, and financial services industries.

Williams earned an M.B.A. from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario, and a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree in Economics from Queen’s University.
